Overview

We are seeking aspiring engineering students to fill Summer Engineering Intern positions. Our ideal applicant would be a college level engineering student (Sophomore or Junior class level) currently enrolled in an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering program. While you do not need to have prior job experience, you must have a high GPA, good organizational and Computer skills (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD). You will have the opportunity to experience the industry from the inside and gain valuable work experience under the guidance of experienced engineers and project managers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing engineering related calculations, design drawings, specifications, and visual aids,
  • Collect and enter data, and apply technical principles and theories to assist in interpreting and analyzing data,
  • Review contractor submittals for adherence to technical specifications on construction projects,
  • Participate in updating the project schedules,
  • Assist in compiling and verifying project closeout documentation,
  • Perform additional assignments as needed.

Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in an accredited engineering program,
  • High GPA,
  • Willingness to learn new skills,
  • Flexible schedule,
  • Strong organizational, communications skills

Hours of Work

  • Your work week will be Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week.
